We have been in communication with the American Red Cross to provide volunteers for their very important fire safety event to help install free smoke alarms in homes across Los Angeles and raise funds for lifesaving services during Sound the Alarm. This year’s national signature event will take place April 27 – May 12, 2019. Our goal is to have faculty, students and staff come together for this important event that will save lives! There is a great need for Spanish speakers to be educators for the campaign, so please consider signing up if you have this skill.
This event is important to TCSPP because no one is immune to home fires. Every day, seven people die in home fires and the Red Cross wants to do everything it can to prevent these needless tragedies. We want to help! Together, we can Sound the Alarm about fire safety and help save lives and come together as a community.
Sign up as a volunteer. Any TCSPP employee who has community service days available can use their day for this important event since the campaigns take place on Saturdays.
